Giraffe
The giraffe is the tallest animal and has the longest
neck in the world. They used to live all over Africa, but today they live only
south of the Sahara Desert. Giraffes are animals in the savannah. They can be
up to 5.7 meters tall. They are spotted lake panthers. Their first two legs are
longer than the others. That’s why the drink in a very interesting way - spread
out with their forelegs and lean forward with their necks. Their main food is
acacia leaves. They usually live in herds. Although they are very calm animals
they are strong and dangerous. A giraffe can defeat an entire herd of lions.
I’ve loves giraffes a lot since I saw them at the zoo when I was 3 years old. I
think they are very nice animals that we need to take care of.
